10-Minute Garlic Butter Noodles

Serves: 2 Prep Time: 3 minutes Cook Time: 7 minutes
Ingredients
- 150 g spaghetti or noodles of choice
- 2 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt, to taste
- Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
- 1 tbsp chopped parsley (optional)
- Grated parmesan or processed cheese, for topping (optional)
Method
- Cook noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Reserve ¼ cup of cooking water.
- In a large pan, heat olive oil and butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant (about 1 minute).
- Add cooked noodles to the pan, tossing well to coat in garlic butter. If dry, add a splash of reserved cooking water.
- Season with salt and pepper. Garnish with parsley and cheese if desired.
- Serve hot.
