Chilli Cheese Toast

Serves: 2 Prep Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 7 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 bread slices
  • 1 cup grated mozzarella or processed cheese
  • 1 green chilli, finely chopped
  • 1 tbsp chopped capsicum (optional)
  • 1 tbsp butter
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Method

  1. Mix cheese, chopped chilli, capsicum, salt, and pepper in a bowl.
  2. Butter the bread slices lightly.
  3. Spread the cheese mixture evenly on each slice.
  4. Toast in a preheated oven or on a tawa until cheese melts and bread turns crisp.
  5. Serve hot, cut into halves or quarters for easy eating.
